Available in almost any style and finish, bath taps can be either a 'mixer' or a 'filler' type. Depending on the type of bath chosen, bath taps can be mounted into the deck of the bath, the wall or, for free-standing baths, into the floor.
A washbasin tap should ideally match the tap on the bath, so they are available in all the same finishes and styles as bath taps, but are usually smaller in size.
If your bathroom is not large enough to accomodate a seperate bath and shower, the shower can be sited over the bath to save space. The easiest way to achieve this is to use a combined bath/shower mixer. These mixers can be mounted on the deck of the bath, the wall or even the floor. Remember to also purchase a riser rail to attach the shower handset to to save you from getting sore arms.
Not to be confused with washbasin taps, bidet taps contain a variable nozzle to the faucet to adjust the spray when washing. Frequently available as mixer types, bidet taps can be mounted to the wall as well as the deck of the bidet.
